Ghana’s foremost scaffolding company, Unispan Ghana Ltd, on Thursday January 19, 2023, donated five (5) new surfing boats to KofiSurf, a budding surfing enterprise located at the beachside of the Sango Beach Resort in Teshie – Nungua
At a brief but colorful ceremony, the Managing Director of Unispan Ghana, Mr Tony Allen noted, the company responded to the plea of KofiSurf. a budding surfing enterprise training the young folks at the Sango Beach, the skills and art of surfing
He noted, surfing is a good enterprise as it teaches the young boys and girls a sporting skill, build on their social networks, provide fitness to their bodies and make them productive to the community
Mr Tony Allen noted again, that he hopes to appeal to their partners to support the youth in the area who are interested in Surfing
Receiving the five (5) new surfing boats, the Proprietor of KofiSurf, Mr Kofi Sarpong was grateful to Unispan for their kind gesture
He noted that since he started about four years ago, he has since trained a couple of the youth in the science and art of surfing, making them productive and helping save lives from drowning
He urged other corporate bodies as well as well – meaning Ghanaians to come to their aid
