The trio, which also includes Frank Acheampong and Oliver Konig, brings a plethora of knowledge, skill, and international renown to the club, promising an exhilarating new chapter for Accra Lions.

Lothar Matheus acknowledged his happiness and encouraged the players to exert themselves more.

“I like to watch football all the time. I want to support my neighborhood.

“I want to use my expertise to help. You can always come to me or anyone else on the team since we have a bit more football knowledge than you do, he said.

“You’re really competent. I saw a lot of talent in all of you during training. The facilities were excellent, and I want to make sure we can make even more improvements.

“The mentality I appreciate is beating Aduana Stars after a hiccup in form. I’m here for that reason.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) president was among the dignitaries in attendance at the event in Accra, and he gave the club his praise and best wishes.

We can watch a vision come to pass. Oliver König and Lothar Matthäus, the partners, are winners, thus the club will also succeed. In essence, Ghanaian football will succeed,” said Okraku.

Accra Lions are a distinct team. They engage in the style of football I enjoy watching. Every part of the club is properly invested in by them.

People have been able and encouraged to invest in Ghanaian football thanks to the positive climate we have fostered.
