Kotoko To Face Off With Aduana In FA Cup

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been drawn against Aduana FC in the top-lin­er of the round of 16 games MTN FA Cup competition.

At yesterday’s draw of the com­petition, the northern sector clash will see the Porcupine Warriors trek to the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa, to play as guest in the all-Premier League affair on Sunday, February 26.

At the Aliu Mahama Stadium , Real Tamale United will host fellow Premier League side FC Samartex 1996.

Other games in the sector will see King Faisal come up against Steadfast at the Baba Yara Stadi­um while Nsoatreman FC trek to Nsoatre to play Debibi United.

Meanwhile, league champions, Asante Kotoko, romped to a 4-0 win over Accra Lions at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday, reports Ghanafa.org.

The Ugandan import, Muk­wala, scored his second of the day to put the game beyond the visitors before former King Faisal midfielder Enoch Morrison put the nail in the coffin in the 75th minute to give Kotoko a well-deserved victory.

The Porcupine Warriors have yet to lose a game at the Baba Yara Sports stadium this season following five wins and three draws in their last eight home matches and moved back to the second spot with 27 points.
