IOS No Longer Supports Iphone 8 & X

This fall, Apple will release the newest operating systems for all of its IOS products, as is customary. Additionally, the corporation will continue to abandon some of its earlier gadget generations.

You won’t be able to update an iPhone 8 (the device was fantastic, so I don’t blame you), iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X to iOS 17. In other words, in order to install the new OS, your iPhone must have an A12 Bionic or later CPU.

You can use features like Live Voicemail transcripts, the StandBy display mode, and, last but not least, superior autocorrect if you have an iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, or iPhone SE (second generation) or later.

The Health app, interactive widgets, and many other features are being added by Apple to the iPad. Unfortunately, users of the original 12.9-inch iPad Pro or a fifth-generation iPad will not be able to install iPadOS 17. The subsequent tablets are going to be supported:

iPad (6th generation and later)
iPad mini (5th generation and later)
iPad Air (3rd generation and later)
12.9-inch iPad Pro (2nd generation and later)
10.5-inch iPad Pro
11-inch iPad Pro (1st generation and later)
As for Apple Watch users, there’s some good news. Apple is continuing to support all devices that run watchOS 9.

You can utilize watchOS 10, which puts a greater emphasis on widgets, if you have an Apple Watch Series 4 or later. Along with numerous other changes, the Cycling and Compass applications have received revisions.

By way of macOS Sonoma, widgets are also coming to the Mac. The desktop and laptop operating systems will include new Game Mode, which prioritizes CPU and GPU performance to deliver faster framerates for every game, in addition to other improvements. The subsequent Macs are compatible with macOS Sonoma:

iMac (2019 and later)
Mac Pro (2019 and later)
iMac Pro (2017)
Mac Studio (2022 and later)
MacBook Air (2018 and later)
Mac Mini (2018 and later)
MacBook Pro (2018 and later)

the 2017 and later iMac, 2019 and later Mac Pro, 2017 iMac Pro, 2018 and later Mac mini, 2018 and later MacBook Air, 2017 and later MacBook, and 2017 and later MacBook Pro.

Not to mention, tvOS 17 will enable FaceTime on Apple TV. Other new features allow you to use your iPhone to locate a lost remote, among other things. Both Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD will be able to use the operating system.
