Sista Afia, a musician from Ghana, has stated that marriage will not define her as a person. The artist asserts that there are numerous perspectives on life and that marriage isn’t the only thing that matters.

The Jeje hitmaker stated, “I don’t see life as being all about marriage and having kids, in an interview with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz. Life is a wonderful thing with many perspectives.
“If I don’t get married, it doesn’t imply that I wouldn’t perform better in life,” she continued. I’m not defined by my marriage, she stated on Hitz FM.
The singer also revealed that she had a childhood ambition of getting married and starting a family at a young age.
When I was a little girl, I distinctly recall telling myself that I would be married at age 21, give birth to twins at age 24, and have more sets of twins afterwards.
I wasn’t particularly knowledgeable about marriage and life when I was younger and more naive, but now that I am, I’m not in a rush.
“Having children is my desire, but even if I never get married, that’s okay, but for a child, that’s something I would want to have.”
“Married individuals these days… it is ridiculous,” she said in conclusion. In light of this generation… People no longer recognize the significance of many things because of social media.
“If you’re a lady, whatever you want to do, be it marriage, you can go ahead and do it,” the Sika hitmaker said. “But for me, I’m just being me and I don’t consider marriage.”
She then counseled women to follow their own interests and not let social pressures affect their decision about marriage.
