The Serbian tactician wants the supporters of the capital based club to throng the stadium always and offer their unflinching support, especially when the going gets tough for the team.
In a post match interview after his side’s impressive 3-1 victory over visiting Brekum Chelsea, Matic said he was not happy with the attitude of the supporters who mainly showed up and celebrate whenever there is victory.
He implied that Hearts supporters hardly turn up to cheer their idol club on whenever they (Hearts) endure difficult times in the league.
He said “We need supporters, somebody who supports 90 minutes not only when we’re celebrating. It’s very easy to celebrate but when you struggle, somebody needs to support these guys”.
He hoped to see more supporters at the stadium during their next games when the league resumes.
