After his Toyota Land Cruiser and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter bus collided head-on in Nyinahin in the Ashanti Region, the Juaboso politician Kwabena Mintah Akando narrowly escaped a fatal accident.

Joseph Amo was operating the Toyota Land Cruiser with the license plate GN 441-14 when it slammed into the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter bus with the license plate AS 7363-18.
When the event occurred, Mr. Minta Akandoh and his bodyguard, G/Cpl. Joseph Ntimbe, were being transported from Juaboso to Kumasi in a convoy that also included the Land Cruiser V8.

Due to the severity of their injuries, the Land Cruiser’s driver, Joseph Amo, and three other passengers have been sent to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for extra care.

Sadly, the MP’s bodyguard, G/Cpl. Ntimbe, also suffered injuries and has been sent to KATH for additional care.
Both automobiles were severely damaged by the crash, and the occupants suffered serious injuries.
