The late Cardinal Baawobr was the Catholic Bishop of Wa and was elevated to the position of Cardinal – Priest of Santa Maria Immacolata Di Lourdes A Boccea by Pope Francis in August, 2022
Born on June 21, 1959, the late Cardinal was professed on December 5, 1986
He was later ordained priest of missionaries in Africa in July of the following year, and by May 31, 2010, he had risen to the position of Superior Missionaries of Africa
He finally became Bishop of Wa in February of 2016
