IK Junkeren of Norway’s Second Division has hired Imurana Abdul Karim, better known as Capasta, as their head coach.

Capasta is a Ghanaian artist.

The artist best known for contributing a verse to the famous song “Telemo” by Gasmilla joined IK Junkeren on February 1 and has since helped the side move up to fourth place in the standings, according to a tweet from well-known Ghanaian sports journalist Saddick Adams.

Capasta spent years honing his teaching abilities as a member of the technical staff at the Lizzy Sports Academy.

He was the director of soccer operations and head coach of the under-12 squad at the Lizzy Sports Complex.

Capasta, who holds a FIFA coaching license, previously worked as the U12 team’s head coach at the Lizzy Sports Academy. The GreenGEN team he led triumphed at the 2018 World Games in Paris, France.
