IPAC has reportedly placed its support behind the implementation of the Ghana Card for the 2024 election, according to Peter Mac Manu, the 2016 Campaign Manager for President Akufo-Addo.

The InterParty Advisory Committee IPAC has reportedly been engaged by the EC, and everyone except for the opposition NDC has concurred, according to the former New Patriotic Party National Chairman. He disclosed that the decision was reached at three IPAC meetings that the NDC boycotted.
IPAC has decided to adopt the Ghana Card as the exclusive means of establishing citizenship for the purposes of registration. The NDC are also invited to any IPAC meetings, but they have chosen not to attend, he said.
