Tetteh led the nation’s under-20 squad to the 2009 World Cup victory.

The first gift was given to Tetteh, who had recently struggled with illnesses, as part of the association’s initiative to aid struggling individuals through the recently founded GFA Foundation.

Kurt Okraku, the president of the GFA, who recognized the coach’s accomplishments, took the chance to address recent media accusations that the GFA, or Ministry of Youth and Sports, owes the coach bonuses and wages.

Sellas Tetteh, meanwhile, had already received a grant of a comparable sum from the Ministry of Youth and Sports in February in response to repeated requests in the media to support the seasoned coach who was facing health issues.

Andre Ayew, the captain of the Black Satellites team that Sellas Tetteh led to World Cup victory in 2009, had also paid him a visit and given him a donation of an undisclosed sum of money.
