One of the aspiring flagbearers on the ticket of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen will visit the Eastern region on Friday to seek the blessings of the Omanhene of New Juaben traditional area, Nana Kwaku Boateng lll and regional executives of the party on his political journey.

The campaign tour of the resigned Trades minister will take him to the Yiadom Hwedie palace to call on the Omanhene of New Juaben traditional area, Nana Kwaku Boateng lll.
Mr Kyerematen is expected to meet with the party delegates in the region to sell his ideas to them as part of his campaign.
He will also meet the clergy in the region and tour some markets in Koforidua to interact with market women.
Reports say supporters of the Mr Kyerematen are massing at vantage points in Koforidua awaiting his arrival in the region to give him rousing welcome.
